Sizing uncertainty is the biggest obstacle in online fashion. Millions of shoppers hesitate at checkout, forced to guess their size. This guesswork leads to a frustrating cycle of returns, costing retailers billions in lost revenue, shipping fees, and customer trust.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
How might we help shoppers confidently pick the right size, reduce returns, and improve the online fashion experience - without overwhelming them?
The SOLUTION :
I designed Find Your Fit, a Shopify plugin integrated directly into storefront product pages.
Intuitive input flow for shopper details (height, weight, age, body type).
AI-driven personalized recommendations based on brand-specific size charts + aggregated shopper data.
Clear, accessible UI copy that minimized confusion.
Visual hierarchy and design consistency aligned with Shopify Polaris system.
Seamless integration into retailer storefronts for effortless adoption.

"We are already seeing a substantially higher conversion rate from our shoppers who use Pixibo's size recommendation service. In addition, and crucially for us, we are seeing a substantial reduction in size & fit related return rates when this Find Your Fit feature is been used."

Ideate :
I brainstormed solutions with the team and mapped them against usability heuristics to ensure scalability + clarity.
Concepts ranged from AR try-ons to static improved charts.
Through co-design sessions with a PM and devs, we narrowed down to 4 scalable redesigns:
Dashboard – Central hub with onboarding + progress tracking.
Size Chart Builder – Step-by-step tool with templates + live previews.
Product Assignment – Bulk linking + smart filters.
Widget Configurator – No-code styling with live previews + mobile support.
Prototype :
I translated ideas into wireframes and interactive Figma prototypes.
Simplified overwhelming forms into step-by-step flows.
Added progress indicators + clear CTAs.
